Fusti (stainless steel drums) are widely used in stores that sell olive oil in refillable containers (or BYO bottles etc). The fusti on pictured on the left is from the post earlier this week on the olive oil stand at Printemps or these at Sur les Quais. The picture on the right is a fusti for sale in the home-ware store of Galeries Lafayette aimed at a home user. Galeries Lafayette has priced the 5 litre fusti at 117 euros! That is a very steep mark-up from the wholesale price. This particular brand of fusti are made by Inox King. Inox King sell the 5 litre fusti, including a tap, for a bit over 30 euros (25 euros for drum and about 7 for the tap). For an order of 25 or more the Inox King wholesale price falls to 23 euros for the 5 litre fusti. In the United States the Olive Source sells the same fusti, from Inox King, with a tap for US$ 75 (around 62 euros at today's exchange rate but volume discounts are available). An alternative for consumers in Paris is to walk across the road to the Galeries Lafayette gourmet store where Belotta-Belotta, the Spanish delicacy corner, sell Sansone fusti at a much lower price. Belotta-Belotta have 5 litre fusti for a bit over 69 euros and 3 litre for 59 euros. Both include a tap and stand.
Sansone is based in Lecce and Inox King just outside Milan. Unfortunately neither sell direct online to consumers.
I am looking for a manufacturer of Fusti'sin Europe or elsewhere to import to California, can any one send me some names or websites to contact?
Thank You

Help anyone please! I need to find Fusti's that are NSF or ETL certified. Any suggestions anyone? The fusti's from Olive Oil Source are EU certified.

I am curious also about wholesale sources for Fustis in the USA. I want to sell them at a local market but need wholesale sources.
