Truffles III (at the Paris Organic Market)

It is the European truffle season and this week the olive blog is posting some snaps from stores and markets around Paris. We began with a couple of snaps from the window of the Maison de Truffle and a snap of their truffle infused olive oil. Today truffles at the organic market (metro Rome). The vendor is a regular at the market and very friendly.  He will gladly allow you to savour the aroma caught up in the glass cover. The truffles are considerably less expensive than the Maison de Truffle.

Yesterday, we began with a couple of snaps from the window of the Maison de Truffle. Today a snap of their truffle infused olive oil and tomorrow truffles at the organic market.

Truffles

It is the European truffle season and this week the olive blog will post some snaps from stores and markets around Paris. Today, we begin with a couple of snaps from the window of the Maison de Truffle (19 place de la Madeleine, 8e). The white truffles from Alba in Italy were priced at 8500 euros per kilo and the black truffles form the South of France at 2500 euros per kilo. Tomorrow a snap of their truffle infused olive oil and then truffles at the organic market.
